Maine is expanding its ban on consumer products containing PFAS at the start of the New Year, covering items such as cookware, cosmetics, cleaning products, furniture, and textiles. Maine has declined to grant exemptions despite industry pushback. Only Maine and Minnesota currently include pots and pans in their PFAS bans.
