A new study of more than 11,000 births in New Hampshire found that pregnant people drinking well water contaminated with PFAS faced dramatically higher risks of infant death, extreme prematurity, and very low birth weight. The harmful outcomes were strongly linked to groundwater flowing from known PFAS contaminated sites.
